We are glad to present the first album of the very talented Kenyan-Danish artist Tina Mweni!

The album was recorded in Marseille, France, with a female band who has been backing Tina Mweni on stage. Released September 23rd 2017

 

Tina was born in Kenya and lived in Dandora the first years of her life. In Copenhagen she went to Rythmical Music High School, then afterwards Dance Academy.

Art in general was the one things that kept Tina on the path of hope when everything seemed lost.

In 2010 Tina made it to the finals at Denmark’s Got talent, ever since then touring has been ongoing.

In association with different NGO’s she has worked with youth’s in Mali, Marcedonia, Tanzania and Denmark for social change.

During a tour with the project named East Africa Rise Up, she discovered the beauty of Marseille and the many art forms at it’s raw nature and high level.

Afterwards Tina formed her own band with female musicians, which was a dream come true. Together they recorded the debut Album “Rapvolution”.
